Our award-winning Ready, Set, Grow! program, recognized with the 2024 Master Gardener Volunteer Award of Excellence for Demonstration Garden, began with a simple idea: plant a seed, and watch what grows—not just in the soil, but in people.

Empowering Communities
Today, our seeds are taking root across Miami—from Child Learning Centers in Little Haiti and Liberty City to Miami Bridge Youth Safe Place in Little Havana, a children’s academy in El Portal, and a community garden supporting families who have experienced homelessness.
Through hands-on gardening, we create spaces where individuals reconnect with nature, nourish their bodies, and begin to heal. The garden becomes more than a place to grow food—it becomes a place to grow hope, confidence, and community.
